Questions, answered plainly.
How accurate is it?
Usually right, and built to be checked. Every bill carries a confidence flag, figures that don’t add up are marked ≠, and every value can be edited in place with the original one click away. We publish no accuracy percentage because it depends on your paper.
What files can I upload?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and PDF, up to 25 MB each. Several at once is fine.
Does it work with handwritten or crumpled receipts?
Often, with a lower confidence flag. Faint thermal paper and handwriting are where you will most often need to edit a line. The original is always beside the fields.
Which languages and currencies?
Receipts in any language the model can read; the app interface is in English. Any currency, kept per currency, with ECB rates for conversion. Exports render Arabic and Hebrew correctly.
Where is my data, and who can see it?
In our PostgreSQL database, hosted with DigitalOcean. Only you, and the people you invite to a project on Pro. Documents are sent to Anthropic’s API to be read. See Security and privacy.
Is my data used to train AI?
Snapbill does not train anything on your documents. For Anthropic’s API, check their current commercial data terms; we link them on the Security page once verified.
What happens when I reach 10 bills?
New documents wait until the 1st of the month, or until you upgrade. Everything you already have stays fully usable.
Can I share a project with my accountant?
On Pro, invite them by email as a viewer or editor. On Free, send them the export.
Can I connect QuickBooks or Xero?
Not yet. Export CSV or Excel.
How do I delete everything?
Account → Delete everything. Bills, originals, projects and the account are removed immediately, with no soft delete.
