1. Who we are
Snapbill is operated by [Legal entity operating Snapbill] (“we”), [Postal address], Québec, Canada. Contact: hello@snapbill.sbs.
2. The service
Snapbill reads photographs and PDFs of receipts, invoices and bills, extracts their contents, and lets you check, organise and export them. Documents are read by Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic. Extraction can be wrong; you are responsible for checking the results before you rely on them.
3. Your account
You need a confirmed email address. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your province or country.
4. Plans and payment
The Free plan reads up to 10 documents per calendar month. Pro, when available, raises that limit and adds sharing, for the price shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Reading, editing and exporting are never restricted by a plan. If a Pro payment lapses, you return to the Free allowance at the next monthly reset; collaborators keep access to projects they were invited to.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you upload and the data extracted from them. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, including sending them to Anthropic’s API to be read. We do not use your documents to train models.
6. Acceptable use
Do not upload documents you have no right to process, use the service to break the law, attempt to bypass usage limits, or interfere with the service or other users.
7. Deletion
You can delete a bill, a project or your entire account at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
8. Availability and changes
We may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce what you can do. The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability or of accurate extraction.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions you make based on extracted data you did not check.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are heard in the courts of Québec.
11. Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and, for material changes, email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect.
